Coast to Coast is currently seeking a Cable Technician to join our team in our Springdale and surrounding area locations. The ideal candidate is required to reside in or live near this service area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Service, repair and installation of cable, internet and telephone
- Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures

- Travel to complete daily job requirements
- Complete timesheets with job codes and descriptions in a complete and timely manner
- Comply with all quality, health, safety and environmental regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment as required
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics
- Other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS
- No previous work experience required, but considered an asset
- Previous training in Powerline hazards
- Previous training in Fall Protection
- Previous training in Traffic Control
- WHMIS Training
- Emergency First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the province of Newfoundland and be able to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Must be mature and responsible with a strong work ethic
- Must possess excellent verbal, organizational and written skills and complete paperwork as instructed
- Must be able to wear safety boots and other Safety Equipment & PPE as required
- Must be able to work from heights on a routine basis
- Must be able to use ladders on a routine basis
- Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift, bend, kneel, climb, twist, carry and push on a routine basis
- Must be able to travel on a routine basis
- Must be dependable, reliable and punctual
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work alone or in a team environment
- Must be able to perform housekeeping tasks
- Must have good customer service experience
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required. This is only in the busy season or if the applicant is looking for more hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
